Supports manual, automatic, IR remote, hotkey, and mouse‑gesture switching.

What This Product Does
The CSV‑1382 is a dual‑system HDMI™ KVM switch.
- Two PCs → one HDMI™ display
- One keyboard, mouse, microphone, and audio output shared
- Only one PC is active at a time
Switching can be performed via:
- Front‑panel buttons
- IR remote control
- Keyboard hotkeys
- Mouse traversal
- Automatic detection
Front Panel
- Power Button – Turns the unit on or off
- Power Indicator LED – Lights when DC power is connected and the unit is on
- Input Selection LEDs – Indicate which PC is selected
- LEDs flash during automatic switching mode
- Online LEDs – Indicate active USB‑B connection to a PC
- IR EXT Port – Connect IR extender for remote operation
- IR Receiver – Receives IR remote commands
- 3.5 mm Microphone Input
- 3.5 mm Stereo Audio Output
- USB Gen1 Ports – For peripherals such as USB drives, printers, or scanners
Back Panel
- USB Ports – Connect keyboard and mouse
- Audio Ports – Connect microphone and amplifier
- HDMI™ Output – Connect to HDMI™ display
- PC1 Input Ports – HDMI™, USB‑B, MIC, and audio for PC1
- PC2 Input Ports – HDMI™, USB‑B, MIC, and audio for PC2
- DC 5V Input – Connect provided power adapter
Connection and Operation
- Connect each PC to the unit using:
- HDMI™ cable
- USB‑B cable
- 3.5 mm microphone and stereo cables (if used)
- Connect keyboard and mouse to the USB‑A ports on the back panel.
- Connect microphone, amplifier, and display to the corresponding ports.
- Connect the 5V / 3A power adapter and press the power button.
When powered correctly:
- Power LED lights up
- Online LEDs indicate connected PCs
- Select LED shows the active PC
Switching Methods (Important)
Manual Switching
- Use front‑panel buttons or IR remote
- Buttons 1 / 2 select PC1 or PC2
Automatic Switching
- When a PC is connected via USB‑B, the unit can switch automatically
- When an active PC is powered off or disconnected, the unit switches to the next available PC
Hotkey Switching
- Hotkey format:
Scroll Lock → Scroll Lock → N
(N = PC number) - Hotkey detection timeout: 5 seconds
- Hotkey function only works with standard keyboards connected to the rear USB‑A ports
🖱 Special Switching Functions
Mouse Traversal
- Move the mouse to the far right side of the screen and continue for 2 seconds
- Automatically switches to the next PC
- Switching order: PC1 → PC2 → PC1
USB‑B Detection Switching
- Detects when a PC is connected or disconnected via USB‑B
- Automatically switches to the active PC
Operational Notes
- Only one PC can be controlled at a time
- Automatic switching behavior is expected and configurable via hotkeys
- Functional keyboards may not support hotkey switching
- Ensure all cables are securely connected before troubleshooting
This behavior is normal and does not indicate a defect.
